I don't have any pics right now, but I have a 93 LX hatch that was born a 2.3/5spd and now has unnatural aspirations. Dropped in a drivetrain from an 88 Thunderbird Turbocoupe and swapped the turbo to an SVO turbo.

Default my money pit

I bought my car on EBay for $8000 in 2001. I always wanted one and I didn't want to mod it much so I added a BBK CAI and Mac exhaust. I found out later that the right quarter panel had been replaced. The repair was done well and it was not in the Carfax report. The decision was made to mod the shit out of it and keep it all original on the outside.

Here's my 93 Cobra. It sat in a garage for almost 10 years with no drivetrain before I picked it up last year. I've just recently completed getting it back to a running state. The chassis has 85k miles on it, and is very clean. The interior is pristine. I've got a lot of stuff done to it... TW heads, Lunati cam, etc; Bullitt brakes, FR500 deep dish, c-springs, tokico illumina, MM steering shaft, steeda x2 balljoints, etc etc; ss braided fuel line (-10 feed to pump, -8 to rail, then -6 return); and plenty more misc mods. I'm actually going to consider selling it this fall because I am returning to school in the Spring and simply don't know what I am going to do with the car now. I don't really have anywhere to keep it where I am going, and I'm worried about keeping it at an apartment in a college town (theft! ) ... Anyways, here are some pics from where I stored it while I was in Afghanistan. I left it with a friend in Dallas, then I towed it home with my L

Get ahold of me when or if you do sell it (that black 93). If I don't have the cash on hand at the time, I know someone who would probably be very interested.

Long story short, my cousin who lives in Santee had his 93 cobra stolen. It was black on black, looked just like that one. He parked it in New Orleans one night with all of his stuff packed in it, and he was planning on driving back out to CA the next morning. This all happened at my gramma's house too, and I know where he was sleeping at was maybe 20ft from where the car was parked too.... so how it was stolen so quietly from a US Marine 20 feet away 'sleeping' I don't know.

Either way though, I'm sure if he saw that car for sale he'd throw money at it in a heartbeat. I sure would.

Edit: This all happened like 10-15 years ago too, its been awhile.

he'd have to get in line I have a few different friends that want it, but if they don't end up with it I'll be putting it up on the websites (this one included). My friend that stored it for me while it had no drivetrain wanted to buy it from me before I had even had a chance to see it lol. I love fox-bodies, and I know that if I do sell it I'm going to always regret it. Sometimes these things happen though, and that's just life.

That Stang looks SEXY!

Very clean. I don't have the room, the money, or the time for it, but if you could just give me 5 minutes with that exhaust pipe?!?!?!? Uhh nevermind. FFS

lol, it scares me how many forums you are on FFS ... and you have seriously more posts on each than anybody should be allowed to have lol.

Thanks for the compliment tho . I'd let you have the exhaust tip to service yourself with, but I had to cut them off because the exhaust wasn't going to fit once I replaced the engine/tranny mounts, and put new headers/hpipe on. I'm just going to buy a new catback ... f it ... for now it rolls with dumps (sounds more badass anyways lol)
