Other than the JERK! that runs this site, ANYTHING goes (except multiple screen names, and outright lies!!!)
if you have a business or something to sell don't worry there are NO vendors, no protection for ass clowns that pop head gaskets because of bad tunes, unsafe products, or anything!!! You can post just about anything here, it is very very very unlikely a thread or post will be deleted or edited!!! (mainly spammers) from what I understand, this site was built because of SV protection on the 'main' sites!!! There are no dues, no fees, nothing of the sort, the owner foots the bill for us 'outcasts' to post freely!!! search around and you will see legit posts of certain 'SV's' being exposed!!! so post up who you support or who has not provided a proper product!! IIRC you need a certain post count to view "The Restroom" which is where everything is laid out for all to see!!! and WELCOME!!!!!

Personally, I dislike when vendors DON'T speak up. Makes it seem like you have something to hide. If you think something is a crock of shit, say it!

If everyone told all the stories, and even only true ones at that, there would be no perfect vendors. I have heard and/or know from personal experience bad stories about almost every single L vendor.
The ones that get bad mouthed the most though are the ones are to watch out for most. But keep alert when doing any business from any company or person. FFS |

a vendor has to remain professional at all times.. even when they are getting ripped apart..all we can do is put our side of the facts out there, no emotion,no opinions..if we do more than that we will get ripped even worse...BUT there are many times when a customer is using internet extortion to get the vendor to do what he wants eventhough it is unreasonable..I have heard" I will ruin your rep online if you dont do what I want".. too many like to see the drama.. and keep it stirred up..
no shop is going to have 100 % customer satisfaction no matter how hard they try..Problems will happen so I think it is important how we respond to a situation and handle it.. just wondering how any one of you would respond if your livilyhood was being threatened by someone trying to ruin the reputation that you have worked for many years to build... some one tried to do that to Lethal last week and the members ripped him apart.. usually it never goes that way..and I think tuners and engine builders get it worse than any other business in this industry..once someone posts then all the haters jump in the thread I can remember every customer that we have had problems with..I can do that because there have not been that many..but even the small amount that we have is too many for me.. I am very grateful that we have thousands of happy customers but those unhappy ones seems to have more of an impact than all the happy ones do.. |

honestly, the only negative thing I have heard about amazon is mail tunes suck. But IMHO mail tunes should only be used as a tune to get you on the rollers The vendors I don't like (and even I can admit for non-personal reasons) have had countless issues and customer complaints With that being said, Regardless of the actual issue I wouldn't go to a vendor thats constantly flamed to avoid the drama. To my knowledge my builder/tuner doesn't frequently post and I have never heard anything but good about him and he made my otherwise stock pullied truck run in the mid 12's |

really? where did you hear that from? that is pretty major considering that is mostly what we do here..
there is always more to any given situation than what you are told about it by one side.. Rick rarily posts either unless it is to put info out there or to respond to someone trying trash him..some people like the tuners to interact and some dont.. he is just too busy to be online Last edited by linn@amazon : 02-09-2010 at 08:43 AM. |

Linn and I had the discussion about email tunes, and she has some pretty hard to dispute reasons why people bash email tunes. Face it today there is a tuner on every corner, and they are all over the forums....trying to make that almighty dollar by sending out tunes thinking the truck/car is what the customer said it was and have no issues. WELL bet that ain't the case all the time...then you have the tuners who really don't know what they are doing and blow peoples shit up 3 times or more times and get on forums and blame everything from the dog puking on the computer to they did it right and are getting flamed for no reason.
I still say the guys who have been around for years and still do good work and still can tune are the ones who are getting hurt the most out of all this tuning era generation bullshit... |

And I really don't recall when I have seen it, just seen it twice or something But im sure it has to do with it being a mail tune and not amazon directly, and im sure it was a newbie that didn't know the difference |
